Dive into our June Update
Another month and been and gone here at Firefish, and we’ve got some news we want to share! We’ve had a Pride Event, got new End of Month Winners to announce and new Fish to introduce so let’s dive in!
Ready, Set, Pride and Seek!
We love any reason to get together in our Hub to work and collaborate with each other. With June being Pride Month, Amy organised a Pride themed Hide and Seek for our Fishes to enjoy! There were 10 pride themed images hidden around the Hub every day for the Fishes to find, and they were competing across four different categories for our favourite thing: team points.
Scott took home the Dedicated Discoverer Award for being the most committed to coming in and finding the images. He also won the You’ve been to Specsavers! Award for finding the smallest, most obscure imagine. Ops took home the Top Team Tally award for finding the most images across the weeks, with Emma being a one-woman machine to take home the points for her team.
We never leave our Far-Flung Fish out, so Amy organised a week of Pride themed puzzles, from word searches to spot the difference for our Fish to get stuck into. Beth and Connie both took home the crown for their teams, for completing the most puzzles across the week. Fin-tastic work to all who took part!
We’ve got New Shoalmates!
We’ve been on quite the hiring run over the past few months and that hasn’t stopped yet. We’ve got two new Fishes to introduce you to this month, and we’re fin-ominally excited to have them aboard!
Catherine joins our Product Experience Team as our newest Product Experience Executive. Catherine will be joining our top-notch testing team to make sure all the releases and new feature we bring you are always ship shape!
We’re also delighted to announce that Pete McMorrow will be joining our Customer Team as our Associate Director of Customer. With over 10 years’ experience in the SaaS industry, Pete brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the table for all of us here at Firefish to learn from.

And the winner is…
It’s that time again, we’re announcing our End of Month Winners! Every month, we love to recognise and reward our Fish for their contributions to the Shoal, Focus Group or Firefish as a whole. Let’s dive into announcing the winners for June!
First up, Andrew, our Chief Technical Officer, took home the Fin-ominally Focussed Fish award for his contributions to our Get Back in the Fight Focus Group. Andrew has been working incredibly hard on new features and releases as part of his Focus Group contributions. He has delivered so much over the previous month and has been pivotal in driving things forward, so congratulations!
Sinead was voted our Fish of the Month for May. Sinead has taken to her new proactive role in the business like a duck to water. She’s been a key member of the Support and Success team, which has been recognised by the whole Shoal, so this award is well deserved!
Finally, Team of the Month went to our Customer : Success and Support Team! Everyone has been working tirelessly to deliver fin-tastic service to out customer, whether it be pro or reactive. They’ve had some stellar feedback across multiple platforms and have raised the bar to help all out clients swim to success with us so congratulations!
