We've added some new faces to the team
We’ve achieved some great success with the product and we’ve been growing steadily year on year. As you know, our software has been nominated for (and won!) a fair few titles and awards and as the demand for Firefish grows in the market, our need for great talent has increased too.
You can see all our lovely faces on the meet the team page, but we thought we should let you know about our new kids on the block. We’ve already welcomed five newbies into the fold in 2015 and if everything goes to plan, there’ll be a few more...
Meet The New Recruits
Tommy was the first to join us at the turn of the year, coming to work for Firefish all the way from Rome! We’re not quite sure if he’s fully embraced the Glaswegian cuisine yet, swapping gorgeous pasta dishes for deep fried mars bars but we live in hope. Tommy is a Senior Developer in our amazing Development team and when he isn't working on our software, he'll be spending time with his beloved cats or exploring his new home of Bonnie Scotland.
Cameron’s experienced a lot of major milestones in 2015. When he joined Firefish he had just landed back from his honeymoon and is settling into married life. We’ll let his lovely wife be the judge of how he’s adjusting to that new role but he’s doing brilliantly here as a Predictive Recruitment Specialist. Cameron can be found on the golf course when he’s not at work, or he’ll be in the travel agent's office planning his next adventure.
Andy closely followed Cameron into our Sales team, completing our super duo of Predictive Recruitment Specialists. Andy plays bass guitar in a band and when he isn’t rocking out on stage or in the crowd at a gig or festival, he’s punishing himself at outdoor boot camp. Play hard, train hard and all that jazz. Andy also has heterochromia (two different coloured eyes) which is a mutation, so he’s basically an X-Man.
Cassandra has joined Firefish as a Happiness Specialist after spending some time in IT Recruitment. As an ex-recruiter, she really gets our customers and their challenges, y’know? Outside of work, Cassandra loves to dance the night away with her friends and interestingly enough, she’s a fish who can’t swim but she doesn’t let that hold her back! If you want to keep her sweet, a steak dinner is the way to this girl’s heart.
Barry is the superman of Firefish HQ. He’s joined us this week as our new Product Support Manager but when he’s not here, he’s pushing himself to the limit and being an all round fitness hero on two wheels taking on various cycling challenges across the globe. He’s cycled stages of the Tour de France as well as from London to Istanbul. His next challenge will be an Arctic Winter Race in 2016 so don’t judge us for not cheering him on from the sidelines. We’ll do it from the comfort of the office!
The new members of our team are settling in well; we're happy to report there have been no teething problems or sleepless nights. Say hello, #lovethefish and we'll keep you updated as our team grows!
