Team Building at the Firefish Hub!
It’s been a year since we opted to go hybrid, but with various restrictions in place, we'd yet to take full advantage of our Hub – but this month that all changed!
The Shoal came together for meetings and team training and to use the space for some much-needed breaks away from their home desks.
The Hub has been a vibrant and busy place this month!
Content planning, collaboration and cookies!
The Growth Team were craving some quality time together, so they came into the Hub for their monthly Content Meeting. In this meeting they share blog ideas and plan future content for the Firefish Blog and Crowdcast series.
The team set up in our Dock room: a space purposely designed for collaboration where you can simply plug in, pull up a seat and get started.
Having a set-up that enables our hybrid business model to operate smoothly is essential – it ensures that no matter where our Fish are working, they can join in remotely and contribute ideas.
And we’re proud to announce, there were zero technical glitches and the team enjoyed some cookies while they worked – now that’s something you can’t get on Zoom!
They loved spending this together so much, they’ve decided to make this a monthly recurring visit to the Hub - proof that hybrid working is best for our Fish.
A Fin-tastic lunch
There are many reasons to love working from home, but one thing we miss is having the opportunity to sit down and chat over lunch!
We know how important this is to our Fish, so we’ve made it a priority to organise awesome team lunches wherever they visit the Hub.
It’s fair to say after all that fin-tastic content planning, the Growth team were sure ready to eat.
Right now our lunch menus are made up of individual lunch boxes filled with homemade savoury snacks and we tucked into some chocolate covered strawberries.
Teamwork makes the dream work!
Some tasks you simply can't do remotely - and packing up our infamous Firefish sweets is one of them!
The Firefish team are heading to the Recruitment Agency Expo in Birmingham later this year, so it was time to pack up sweets – a LOT of sweets! This required some teamwork so it was all hands on deck!
And as always, these were packed in a sterile environment which is why our models were wearing masks and gloves. This was a great way to end the Growth team's day at the Hub.
Until next time!
