From Exec to Leading an Award-winning Customer Support Team

Scott Sorbie has been with Firefish for almost 5 years – and he is one of your top Support Team Leads! He started as a Customer Support Executive in 2018, where he worked hard to give the best possible treatment to our customers (after all, we are very proud of our support team here at Firefish!). 

Shortly after he moved onto a Senior Support Executive role – his supervisors saw the amount of effort and passion he put into his work and wanted to give him a shot at training some of the Junior staff to be just as involved!

In April of 2021, he got promoted to Support Team Lead, which is where he is thriving now – loving the management side of the Support Team, helping to mentor and coach others, and create new strategies.

Scott highlights how amazing the support he got himself was – Firefish recognizes not only talent but most importantly, hard work and dedication – and Scott had both! As he says himself, he came into the company as a bit of a ‘lost boy’, but with proper training and help, he quickly figured out where he wanted to go and how to get there! He was provided with all the tools and coaching to grow into his current position and progress his career the way he had planned.
