We’ve had a fin-tastic January here at Firefish, kicking off the year on the front foot! We’ve continued the momentum that drove our success in 2021 and it’s set us up well for the rest of the year! If you’ve been swimming with us for a while, or are new members of our Fishtank, you might know that we like to shout about all things Firefish when we can, so here’s our update of what went down in January!
Our Shoal is Growing!
We had a great year in 2021, onboarding 17 new Fishes to the Aquarium and promoting 12 more – congratulations to everyone! January was another strong month for us, as we onboarded THREE new fish to the Shoal, keeping up the great pace from December! So welcome to Erin, who is working in our Ops team as a Finance and Ops Executive, Michelle who joins our Customer Team as our newest Customer Support Executive and Amy, who is joining our Ops team as our Employee Branding Executive!
Fin-ominal Burns Night!
When you get whisky, Irn Bru and haggis through the post, it can only mean one thing – Firefish is doing Burns Night! Our Fishes were primed and ready for a night of Burns themed fun, with a Burns Night quiz hosted by Scott, full of weird and wonderful questions.
Did you know that Scotland’s shortest commercial flight is 47 seconds (if the winds in your favour)? We’re not just one of the Top Three Fastest Growing Tech Companies in Scotland, we’re always ready with fin-tastical titbits of information!
Our very own Vicki was crowned quiz champion, before leading everyone in Address to a Haggis (not sure if anyone understood it!).
A swimmingly successful night, and here’s to the next event!
Swimming for Success!
At Firefish, we love to celebrate our staff and their successes at the end of every month so congratulations to our first winners of2022! First up, Vicki was voted our Fin-onminally Focused Fish for January for her excellent work in her Focus Group. Fish of the Month was awarded to Cal, for his superb work supporting all our customers and for receiving consistent, first-class feedback in the process. And finally, Team of The Month goes to the Customer Team, for all their hard work, and building on their success from last year!
