Glasgow Business Awards

We kicked off the month with a wonderful evening at the Glasgow Business Awards, where we were delighted to be finalists in the Excellence in Customer Service category. 

Some of the shoal got their glad rags on and enjoyed a gorgeous meal and great entertainment at the Hilton Glasgow Hotel.  You can see what we got up to here.

Scaling Up

We were all extremely impressed with the Happiness team's acting skills - they demonstrated brilliantly our value of "don't take yourself too seriously" while filming our latest recruitment video!

A Newbie & Some Oldies!

We said a big hello to our wonderful new Fish, Minh, this month.  Minh is a highly experienced developer, who has joined the Current Version team as an Automation Engineer.  He's originally from Vietnam - but tells us that he actually loves the nippy Glasgow weather...we're not sure we believe him, but we're delighted that he's joined the shoal!

We also had a couple of Fishaversaries in October - Senior Developer, Eric, and Head of Happiness (Ops) & Talent Magnet, Vicki, both joined us on October 13th - Eric in 2014 and Vicki in 2013 - so we had a great reason to blow up balloons and chuck some confetti on their desks!

National Curry Week

Friday 13th wasn't just a day of Fishaversaries:  it was also the last day of National Curry Week, so we had no other option than to head out for a Ruby and a few beers.  We know, it's a hard life being a Fish...!

Fab New Features

To prove that we actually do some great work in amongst our awards, filming and currying, we're also now in Beta with some fab new features including click to call, even more SMS options, and internationalisation. 

Once they've been through our live testing phase with a handful of our users they'll be released to everyone, so you'll all have some exciting new features to play with soon!
