In March, we added not one, but TWO new fish! A massive welcome to our new Growth Fish Gabriela, working on our Data & Emails, and to Happiness Fish Paul, keeping our lovely customers smiling.
Swimming to greater heights
Not only have we been adding new fish, we’ve had long-term fish swimming to even greater heights! We’re thrilled to announce we have two newly promoted members of the Firefish Team. If you know Firefish, you’ll know Vicki, our ever-smiley Head of Happiness. She’s been doing such a stellar job with us, she’s ready to get her teeth into developing Happiness even further. Vicki is now our Head of Happiness (Ops) and Talent Magnet! This means she is responsible for our happiness in the Aquarium, and for helping to bring us lots of new fish!
"We have a great culture here and as a growing company it’s really important to us that we retain that, so I’m extremely excited to have this opportunity to look after the day-to-day running of the Aquarium and ensure that our brilliantly talented team #lovethefish. I’ll also be responsible for attracting the best talent to our Growth, Product and Customer Happiness teams, so it’s a really fun and rewarding role."
If you’ve joined Firefish, you’ll no doubt have been in contact with our Queen of Onboarding. You can’t promote someone past Queen, can you? Well, we haven’t, because that’s an amazing job title. But now she is not only Queen of Onboarding, but Queen of Success! Bow down, all ye who enter Happiness Land, HRH Louise is in session. Something we’re really proud of at Firefish is that our fish have the ability and scope to develop their own roles, discover their strengths and create a job that they love.
"I’m really eager to get stuck into my new role. I’ve been focusing on our new clients journey over the last couple of years but I’m excited to take ownership of the Happiness team and bring together the journey of onboarding, support and the long term success of our clients."
Last but by no means least...
Last, but by no means least, our Digital Marketing Champion Christine has passed her probationary period with flying colours, and is now a full time fish! Christine joined the Aquarium in November and has been making a splash on social media since then. You may have been victimised by her fish puns, but we couldn’t picture having salmon else in the role… Sorry...
"I've really enjoyed working at Firefish, so I'm over the moon to have passed my probation. The great thing about my job here is the variety. No two days are the same, and I've already had the opportunity to take on more tasks and grow my role in the business. It's been great to feel part of the company, and be able to suggest changes."
