Firefish Celebrates a Fin-tastic Year at Fishmas!
Last Friday night was nothing short of magical as Firefish Software hosted one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year—our annual Fishmas Party! The evening brought together the entire Firefish Shoal to celebrate a year of hard work, collaboration, and success. With fantastic food and drinks, a finominal venue and a challenging quiz to kick things off, the night was full of laughs from the whole Shoal. But the true highlights of the evening were the announcements of our Team of the Year and Fish of the Year awards— the two big ticket accolades at Firefish Software.
A massive congratulations to Campbell Nelson and the Demand Team, who earned the coveted Team of the Year award! This recognition is a testament to the incredible work the team has delivered throughout the year, excelling across content, product marketing, customer marketing, video, and partnerships. Their collaborative efforts and innovative thinking have driven significant progress, creating a buzz about what’s possible as we dive into2025. Let’s not forget a well-deserved shout out to the Support & Success Team, who came in a very respectable second place. Their determination and competitive spirit are already setting the stage for next year’s race to the top!
The evening’s other standout moment was the announcement of Fish of the Year 2024, awarded to Scott Sorbie from Support & Success. Scott’s unwavering dedication, hard work, and ability to go above and beyond earned him this prestigious title. After years of being a top 5 finalist, 2024 was finally his year to shine! With a well-deserved round of applause (and a celebratory fish hat to match), Scott proved that persistence and commitment truly pay off.
The night was a fantastic way to reflect on what has been an incredible year for Firefish. From breaking new ground in product development to strengthening partnerships and delivering outstanding customer experiences, 2024 has been a year of growth and achievement. With the Demand Team’s outstanding performance, Scott’s individual recognition, and the passion from all our teams, there’s no doubt that 2025 holds even greater opportunities for success.
