It's the most Fishmas time of the year!
It’s Fishmaaaaas!
Vicki and Amy hosted our Annual Fishmas party for the whole Shoal on Friday and it was a hell of splash! We started the evening with our Fishmas Quiz, rounding up the past Firefish year. There were definitely some amazing stats and even more amazing sayings from the year to share with the Shoal!
Once we had suitably emptied the bar, we headed out on the town for some food and festivities. Massive thanks to Meze Meze for hosting us and doing such a fabulous job, it was an amazing evening! Here's to the next one!
Fish of the Year!
We love to recognise and reward achievement and contributions to both the Shoal and the business. Our whole Shoal vote for who we think has made the biggest splash over the past year and Fish who comes out on top is crowned at our annual Fishmas party! It was incredibly close at the top this year, with some fin-tastically worthy Fish in the mix but I am delighted to let you know that Stewart Pollock was voted our Fish of the Year!
Stewart has been an integral of our Data Team, smashing out migration after migration for our customers. He is the true embodiment of our Functional Lead role, never dropping the ball and he's always happy to share his knowledge to the rest of the Shoal. He's not only managed to balance everything that has come at him, but he's also doing a fin-ominal job heading up our #lovethefish Focus Group. Well done Stewart, this is so well deserved!
Team of the Year!
We award Team of the Year to the function that has gone above and beyond to deliver for the Shoal and the business. By taking part in culture events, being nominated for our monthly awards, or getting stuck into our focus groups, every Fish has the opportunity to help their team into the top spot.
Every function gives it their all throughout the year to be in the running, but there can only be one winner. I'm delighted to announce in 2022, Team of the Year went to our Customer Team!
The Customer team have been outstanding all year, continuing to deliver and improve despite some curveballs! Smashing migrations out the park, contributing to and leading Focus Groups and continuing to keep out customers supported with 100% satisfaction, what a year it's been! Congratulations Customer, this one is so well deserved!
