Firefish at the Aquarium

We’ve had a busy month this June introducing the Fish to our new Hub for the first time since we transformed it from The Aquarium into our shiny new collaborative space.

For many of us it was the first time we had seen our teammates in person since lockdown and with us now being a Work From Anywhere employer, we also had some new faces joining us for the first time in person as well.

We don’t know what was more exciting – visiting the new Hub or just getting to be with each other in the same room again!

Every Friday last month saw a different team gather in the Hub and have the chance to enjoy working in our fantastic new space – and fish bar. We also made the most of being in by getting our new “Cuddle Boards” up – our way of making all the Fish feel welcome and have a sense of belonging when they are here.

We even managed to get some filming done for our brand-new Diversity & Inclusion video which highlights the way that Firefish supports all of the members that make up the shoal – watch this space!

The tiered seating proved to be a fan favourite as we gathered to hear presentations and watch our  brand-new timeline video. Our Work From Anywhere policy was also highlighted with the Fish from further afield able to join us via zoom whilst enjoying their very own cheeseboard.

We even had a visit from one of our smallest fish – Gabbywho was loving our new giant deck chair!

Most importantly, the bar was kept fully stocked every week to keep our fish well-watered. We can’t wait till next time already!
