Welcome to Firefish Fest 2021!

With restrictions on socialising finally easing in Scotland, we knew our first Summer Social since lockdown had to be a special one for our Fish! So to keep everyone safe and take advantage of the Scottish summer (yes, we get them!), we held our first ever Firefish Festival!

Here’s what went down…

Festival fashion, food and fun

Of course, no festival would be complete without the firefish fest clobber.

Amy pulled out all the stops by providing us a festival pack that included wristbands, VIP passes and even glowsticks!

Amy and Vicki put together an unforgettable afternoon complete with some pretty impressive face painting, inflatable carnival games and outdoor beer pong. Safe to say, the fish really threw themselves into the whole festival experience.

And of course, being a Scottish festival the food and bevy were always going to be a main highlight.

Thankfully, there were no festival-length bar queues to wait in as the fish were able to cool off with a drink anytime inside an inflatable pub! We were supplied with burgers, hot dogs and chips from a snack van for that authentic festival feel – and even a candyfloss machine.

The headline act

The headlining act and absolute highlight of the festival was Rise performing for us live!

They put on an amazing performance, kept the crowd well entertained and had everyone up on their feet dancing for the first time since lockdown.

And to top it all off, we got to see our very own fish David rock out some tunes on his guitar – who accepted his award for Fish of the Month while on stage.

Being a Work from Anywhere business, there was always going to be some fish who couldn’t make it, but we didn’t want them to miss out on the festival experience..

Enter, Firefish Fest in a box!

We loved seeing the shoal back together again and enjoying each other’s company.
