What an amazing start to 2022!

We’re halfway through February already, where has the time gone? We’ve had a busy start to the month, with national expos, broken cookies and competition galore, so let’s dive straight in, shall we?

Swimming to Success at the Expo!

It’s been a while since our last in person event, and we can’t be more excited that these events are back! Our Growth packed up our expo stand, fish sweets and hit the road down to London for the 2022 Recruitment Agency Expo!

There was a great turn out at the event and our stand; it’s not been an easy couple of years for recruiters but the resilience and determination of everyone has clearly paid off!

Our Chief Fish Wendy delivered a Masterclass Seminar in ‘Blasting Your Way Through 2022 with the Best Recruiter Tactics’ in front of a packed audience. It was incredible to get back in action; not only so we can demonstrate our award-winning software live and in person, but also so we can get involved in the community again! We can’t wait for the next expo!

Be My Valentine?

At Firefish, you know we love any excuse to get together as a company for a little friendly competition; so, what better way to do that this month than a cookie decorating contest?

On Valentine’s Day we all got together for a little Crafty Cookies session, hosted by Amy, who was also choosing the winner of the awards; Amy’s Valentine award, for her favourite overall cookie, Best Breakthrough, for the best broken cookie design, Feeling the Fishy Feels, for the best decorated cookie, and At Least You Tried, need we say more?

Everyone had a fin-tastic time, letting their competitive side out; you never knew cookie decorating could be so entertaining. Congratulations to our winners for the first four categories; Beth, James, Becki and Lewis, your award is well deserved! However, there was one more prize up for grabs.

The Overall Awesomeness award, voted for by our very own Shoal, was awarded to the crowd’s favourite cookie, and, after a tense round of voting, we are fin-ominally excited to reveal the winner is….

Beth Williams, from our Growth Team! Congratulations Beth, a winner on two fronts, you’ve smashed it!
