December Product Update

What's new on your Firefish instance?

As you know, we're constantly updating and improving our software, releasing new features every single week. With so much going on, we thought it was time to give you a little round-up of everything we've added to Firefish in the past four weeks.

Watch our December product video below to get a run-down of the latest updates to our award-winning recruitment software from Ross, our Chief Problem Solver on the Happiness Team:

GDPR Improvements

GDPR came into force over six months ago now, but that doesn't mean we've slowed down on improving how you can manage compliance inside the software.  You can now keep your database in check with the 'Compliance' section on your To Do List. You can resend your agreement, or delete candidates from the database directly from your Compliance lists.  You also get the option to manually select your legal basis for processing each candidate's data.

As well as being able to mark a candidate for deletion, to give you peace of mind you can also unmark a candidate for deletion! The grace period for this is seven days after the deletion has been performed.

Customisations

Another brand new feature is the ability to customise which KPIs appear on each users Dashboard. This is perfect for a resourcer who won’t need to focus on business development, or vice versa. Super Users and Recruitment Managers can access this setting within KPI Targets and it’s as simple as selecting which KPIs should be enabled or disabled via the “Show on dashboard” column.

Google for Jobs

Finally, the hottest of hot topics among recruiters! Google for Jobs is making waves in the industry, but the good news is that Firefish is set up to ensure candidates find YOUR roles. By adding structured data to your adverts, our software makes sure your vacancies appear in Google For Jobs when a candidate searches for opportunities using Google. Within Firefish, you can now choose which fields will appear in Google for Jobs as part of your job postings, meaning you’re in control of what info candidates see about your jobs on Google.

Within Settings > Web Configuration > Schema, you can simply tick or untick which fields you’d like to appear. You’ll find some useful tips and descriptions informing you what each field is linked to in your adverts.

That wraps us up for this week - if you have any feedback then please get in touch with your Success Champion or via Support. We're always happy to hear from you!
