Recruitment Expo

We've always had a great time at the Recruitment Expo at the London Olympia, with Wendy speaking each year on important recruitment-related topics.  This year was as bit different for the Fish though: we had our very own stand! 

Wendy, Cameron, Alan, James and Nick swam (well ok, flew!) down to London and were thrilled at how excited everyone was to see us there.  It was standing room only for Wendy's talk on Riding the Crest of the Recruitment Wave, and the buzz at the stand was amazing with recruiters queuing up either to catch up and see what's coming next in their software, or enjoying demos of the product.  A large number of those we met have now joined the Firefish club, and we're delighted to have them onboard.  Want to see what it's like at the RecExpo?  Check out the video below! 

New Fish

It's brilliant to have so many fabulous new Fish friends joining us, but we want to make sure that we continue to provide the award-winning level of service that you deserve.  That meant we needed more Fish, and Recruitment Success Specialist, Michelle Elliott, has already made a big splash in the Happiness team since joining us earlier this month.  Michelle gained a big passion for recruitment during her days as a consultant, and loves being part of the support team as she gets to spend her time doing what makes her happiest: helping our clients to be successful! 

Fishaversary

February also marked API Developer Paul's first Firefish anniversary!  Paul loves that he always has the opportunity to learn here at Firefish and feels he's a much developer than he was a year ago.  He has the tricky task of ensuring that our integration with all the different job boards you can post to work, so he's certainly kept busy! 

Fish of the Month

Alan was our clear winner for Fish of the Month for February, having done an astounding job at the Recruitment Expo and always pushing the company to do things differently, but in ways that make us more competitive in the marketplace.  We now offer multi-year deals thanks to Alan, and as well as always putting our clients (and potential clients) first he's also a great support to the team as a whole.   As one of the Fish said:  it's gotta be big Aldo - the guy's a total legend!

Crowdcast - 19th March at 4pm

Have you signed up for this month's Crowdcast?  This month, Cameron will be talking with Drewe Broughton and Ash Knight about Growth Mindset.   They'll be discussing how team managers and agency owners can begin developing a strong growth mindset within their recruitment teams to continuously improve performance and carry the business forward to it next phase of growth. 

Drewe and Ash already have a great track record of working together to maximise recruitment team performance.  Drewe (an ex-professional footballer turned performance coach) worked alongside Ash at his Rec2Rec agency to develop a strong growth mindset amongst his team of recruiters.  The results were extremely positive, so there's lots we can all learn from there experience!
