Strategising, brainstorming and fun!  

Every six months the Fish all get together for a day of strategising, brainstorming and fun!  

Focus Days are our time to share our ideas for the future of Firefish.  To start the day, the shoal gathered together for a company update from Chief Fish, Wendy...and what an update it was!  All the good stuff is on the up and up, and it was really exciting for us all to get such a great insight.  

Next, we got our thinking caps on in our teams to decide on our top ideas for the next six months to ensure that we continue to provide our Fish friends old and new with a first class product.  After a yummy munch of lunch from our friends at Social Bite, each team updated us on what they've achieved in the last six months, and what their focus will be moving forward. 

Back in May we'd set our action points on the topic of Compliance After GDPR, and it was astounding to see how much work each team has done in such a short space of time.  From content educating recruiters on what compliance is and how to comply; to improvements to our Fish Tank and training sites to provide clearer information on how to use Firefish to demonstrate compliance; to a long list of new and improved features around candidate and contact agreements, legal plugins, new candidate journeys and GDPR workflows (to name just a very few!) so much has been achieved already...and even more is in the pipeline!

We'd used lots of brain power during the day so it was time for some fun and power of a different kind as we headed out to The Experience for a whiz around the go karting track! 

A big well done to UI/UX Developer John, whose speedy circuits saw him scoop first place!
