It’s been an exciting month so far for Firefish!

July has seen the release of our new version!  At Firefish, we’re committed to continuing to improve our product, and incorporating ideas from our Community Forum into our roadmap.  We’re therefore thrilled to announce all our customers are now on our new version of the software.  Welcome Version 3!

Version 3 has seen a marked jump in how modern our system looks, but the changes aren’t just aesthetic.  Our new version also features tweaks and changes designed to make the system even easier to use for recruiters, to allow them to reach, engage and recruit more candidates.  If you haven’t seen our system yet, why not book a swim around?

You’d think releasing a brand new version of our recruitment software would be enough to keep our Product Team busy, but that’s not all they’ve been up to!  We’ve also launched our very own Recruitment Grader tool, to help recruitment agencies analyse their website on four key areas:

    •     Candidate Friendly – The impact and accessibility for candidate attraction

    •     Jobs – How good the recruitment functionality is

    •     Get Found – SEO and attracting visitors

    •     Market Authority

This allows recruiters to understand the strengths and weaknesses in their website, and gives actionable advice on where to improve.  If you'd like to check it out for yourself, you can give the Recruitment Grader a whirl here.

In addition to this great feedback, we’ve also had the honour of being recognised by Global Recruiter! Firefish are very proud to have picked up a commendation for the Recruitment Grader in the Best Innovation category.  We sent Predictive Recruitment Specialists Cameron and Joanne down to Café de Paris in London for an afternoon of glitz and glamour at the Global Recruiter Awards 2017.  Competition was stiff, so to receive a commendation is an extremely high honour.
